Informing and educating agencies, organisations and the public, via talks, training and publicity, in order to maximise awareness of domestic violence issues and of the services provided by Peterborough Women’s Aid are goals we constantly strive for.

We constantly promote public awareness of the issues relating to domestic abuse locally and nationally. PWA regularly provides quotes relating to stories and cases which are highlighted within the press.

PWA is an active member of local forums including the International Women’s Day, VoiCeS Forum, Small Groups Forum and the Domestic Violence and Abuse Forum. We also offer placements for Degree Social Work Students providing them with a unique experience of our specialist resource.
